MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin coach Bret Bielema says right tackle Josh Oglesby needs three to four months to heal following a significant knee injury.

Bielema couldn’t immediately identify which knee Oglesby injured, but Oglesby hurt his left knee against UNLV in the opener and aggravated that injury against San Jose State.

Bielema says Tuesday that Oglesby’s knee began swelling up during a recent practice and the staff knew something was wrong. Oglesby came into the season as the starter, but Ricky Wagner replaced him in a 27-14 win over San Jose State on Sept. 11.

Offensive line is one area where the ninth-ranked Badgers have significant depth. Eight linemen on the roster have started at least one game for Wisconsin this year.
