Vancouver firefighters at 6:22 p.m. Wednesday rushed to the scene where a car crashed into a light pole on Interstate 205 southbound between Mill Plain Boulevard and the Glenn Jackson Bridge.

The car knocked the pole down, and an exit lane and a freeway lane were closed. Vancouver fire engine crews arrived to help any injured persons, said a dispatcher for the Washington State Patrol.

Later Wednesday night, a dispatcher said no one was injured. Troopers were investigating whether the driver was intoxicated.

Officials cleared the road shortly before 7 p.m. No other details were available.
