People and families who experience developmental disabilities are invited to attend a free communitywide Leadership for Action Forum on Nov. 9.
The Arc of Clark County has been engaged in a community needs assessment and research project, funded by a grant from the Northwest Health Foundation. For the past 11 months, the agency has listened, followed priorities and done research.
Arc now is ready to share some creative ideas to address the identified need areas related to activities and employment for people with developmental disabilities.
The Leadership for Action Forum will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Gaiser Hall on the campus of Clark College, 1933 Fort Vancouver Way.
Call 360-759-4917, ext. 109, for information.
