FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) — Deion Branch will be on the same field Sunday with Randy Moss, the player he replaced as the New England Patriots most experienced receiver.

New England will be home against the Minnesota Vikings, who traded for Moss on Oct. 6. Branch said Thursday he’s still learning the New England offensive system and the changes made to it since the Patriots traded him to Seattle before the 2006 season. They reacquired him on Oct. 12.

He has 13 catches in two games but said that doesn’t concern him. He’d be OK with however many catches he needs to make to help win a game. He’d also like to catch more long passes, which was Moss’ specialty, but said that must come within the flow of the game.
