Clark County — Pending revisions to federal flood insurance rate maps may affect more than 6,100 properties, according to a news release issued Friday by Clark County.
The county will host an open house, 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 17 at the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St.
The open house will be in the hearing room on the sixth floor.
Officials from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) are scheduled to make a 15-minute presentation at 5:15 p.m.
Property owners may view maps and speak with the government officials.
The flood insurance rate maps identify special flood hazard areas within Clark County and reflect revisions to the 100-year floodplain, which marks the area that has a 1 percent chance of flooding in any year.
