NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Saints rookie cornerback Patrick Robinson has been sidelined by a right ankle injury during the first quarter of New Orleans’ game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday night.
Robinson was starting because of injuries to regular starters Jabari Greer and Tracy Porter. Robinson’s injury occurred during the Saints’ first defensive series.
Trainers worked on his ankle on a table behind the bench, then Robinson pedaled a stationary bike for several minutes and did some running in place before heading to the locker room to get taped again.
Robinson returned to the Saints’ sideline in uniform and team officials say his return is questionable.
