PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — A suspect in the deaths of a Salem farming couple found slain in their home has told police she helped the couple’s son dispose of his bloody clothing just hours before she and the son were arrested.
The bodies of 61-year-old David Scott Jondle and his 58-year-old wife Marilyn Jondle were found Tuesday morning.
Polk County Sheriff Bob Wolfe says 46-year-old Cindy Lou Beck told police she found the Jondle’s 20-year-old son, Andrew, with blood on his clothes.
Wolfe says Beck and Andrew Jondle were in a relationship and his parents didn’t approve, causing tension in the family.
