KENNEWICK, Wash. (AP) — Court documents obtained by the Tri-City Herald show Prosser School District officials were shocked by allegations a 14-year-old boy had a sexual encounter with the wife of the Prosser High School principal.
The boy’s coach heard in May that the boy had talked about it with teammates, and Benton County sheriff’s detectives began in investigation. The incident allegedly happened April 27 at the home of Linda Lusk, two blocks from the high school.
She was charged in June with child molestation. The 49-year-old pleaded not guilty and her trial is set for Sept. 27.
Linda Lusk is the wife of Prosser High Principal Kevin Lusk. She served one term as Prosser’s mayor and lost a re-election bid in 2007.
