King’s Way Christian Knights

2009 record: 6-4, lost to Neah Bayin district playoffs.

Coach: Luke Gillock, 3rd year.

Key players: Josh Russell, sr., rb/de; Daniel Gillock, sr., lb/te; Tanner Coval, jr., c/de; Hayden York, soph., rb/lb.

Team outlook: With 24 players, the most in their three seasons of eight-man football, the Knights anticipate building upon their momentum from their winning season in 2009. Making the playoffs could become a King’s Way tradition, sevcral players said, but the focus remains on day-to-day improvement.
