Police pursuing robbery suspect

Vancouver, WA — Vancouver police are pursuing a man suspected of a strong-armed robbery near the Safeway grocery store located in the 6700 block of East Mill Plain Boulevard, according to police scanners monitored at The Columbian.
The suspect, a white male in his 30s who fled the store in a late-model black Nissan, allegedly robbed a woman at about 2:15 p.m., according to early reports.
Additional information was not immediately available.
