Je T’Aime bakery closes after one year
Wednesday, September 8, 2010
Downtown Vancouver said au revoir Tuesday to Main Street bakery Je T’Aime.
The French bakery, open for less than a year at 2413 Main St., won’t reopen elsewhere, said co-owner Cinamon Miller. But Miller and co-owner Claire Ghormley haven’t yet decided whether they will sell or liquidate the business, she said.
Je T’Aime opened in November 2009 offering a selection of bread, pastries and cakes and quickly became a popular uptown gathering place. Miller declined to disclose the reason for the bakery’s closure.
