LOS ANGELES (AP) — David Beckham has been activated from the Los Angeles Galaxy’s disabled list.
The MLS club made the long-awaited move Thursday. The English superstar is eligible to play in the Galaxy’s home game Saturday night against Columbus.
Beckham tore his left Achilles’ tendon March 14 while playing on loan with AC Milan. He had surgery two days later.
After traveling with the English national team during the World Cup in South Africa, Beckham returned to practice with the Galaxy on Aug. 10.
