SALEM, Ore. (AP) — A Marion County sheriff’s spokesman says a woman was fatally shot Thursday at a northeast Salem mobile home park.
Spokesman Don Thomson says the woman was taken from a home in the Surf Wood Mobile Park to Salem Hospital, where she died of a gunshot wound. She was not immediately identified pending notification of relatives.
Detectives detained an unidentified man for questioning. Thomson says the case is being investigated as a homicide. He says there are no additional suspects.
