EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) — The New York Giants have injury problems that could force them to make a move at tight end.

Starting tight end Kevin Boss suffered his third concussion since late in 2008 season in the opener against Carolina. His status for Sunday night’s Manning Bowl II against the Colts in Indianapolis is uncertain.

Not only is Boss iffy, Giants coach Tom Coughlin says backup tackle William Beatty is going to be sidelined with a broken right foot.

Beatty’s injury is an added concern because he lined up as the second tight end Sunday after Boss was hurt in the first quarter. Travis Beckum took over in the No. 1 spot.

Boss and Beckum are the only two tight ends on the Giants’ 53-man roster.
