A Camas woman escaped injury Monday afternoon when a lumber truck crossed the centerline of Highway 14 and overturned.

About 4 p.m. Monday, Randy L. Naiman, 46, of Dufur, Ore., was westbound in a 2004 Peterbilt tractor pulling a flatbed trailer loaded with lumber, according to the Washington State Patrol. He lost control on a curve about three miles west of Cape Horn, crossed the centerline and rolled the truck onto its left side, spilling all the lumber, just as Donna R. Carlisle, 45, of Camas approached eastbound.

Troopers said Carlisle moved her 2008 Toyota Corolla against the guardrail, where it was pinned by the wreckage.

Naiman was ticketed for alleged second-degree negligent driving. The road was closed for several hours.
