GAINESVILLE, Fla. (AP) — Florida coach Urban Meyer says Omarius Hines will start in place of suspended receiver Chris Rainey when the 10th-ranked Gators play at Tennessee on Saturday.

Meyer also says there is no timetable for Rainey to possibly return to the team.

Meyer says “it’s just further evaluation as we go. As of the immediacy of it, he’s not with us.”

Rainey was suspended indefinitely Tuesday following his arrest. He was charged with aggravated stalking, a third-degree felony, for allegedly sending a sometimes girlfriend a threatening text message.

Rainey has just six catches for 34 yards and a touchdown this season, and Meyer says his team can fill that void.
