The public safety complex at the Fairgrounds is offering its annual round of greetings, refreshments and education.
The shared fire-police facility at 505 N.W. 179th St. will host its 10th annual open house from noon to 4 p.m. Sept. 18.
Hot dogs and pop, popcorn and games, face painting and fingerprinting, health screenings and equipment demonstrations, a K-9 visit and a bounce house are all on tap. A Life Flight helicopter is scheduled to touch down at 1 p.m.
