EDMONDS, Wash. (AP) — Police say the man accused of setting fire to a business in Edmonds is a former employee who wasn’t known to be disgruntled when he left his job in the spring.

The 36-year-old Seattle man was caught fleeing the fire Friday at Canopy World. He’s being treated for burns to his hands and face. Police said Tuesday he’ll be jailed for investigation of arson after he’s released from a Seattle hospital.

Damage from the fire is estimated at more than $100,000.
