CONNELL, Wash. (AP) — An inmate at the Coyote Ridge Corrections Center at Connell was found unconscious after an assault.
KNDO-TV reports Andre Cook was reported in intensive care at Tri-Cities hospital.
The inmate accused of Saturday’s assault has previous infractions for fighting and could face a criminal charge.
The prison holds more than 2,100 minimum- and medium-custody offenders.
