KENT, Wash. (AP) — A truck collision on Interstate 5 at Kent resulted in a diesel spill that closed southbound lanes.
The Kent Fire Department says a large amount of diesel spilled from a 900-gallon tank requiring a cleanup.
The crash at 10:15 p.m. Tuesday involved a flatbed semi, a tow truck towing a semi tractor, and a double-tanker truck.
The Transportation Department said the southbound lanes of the interstate will likely remain closed until 7 a.m. Wednesday while unspilled fuel is transferred and the wreckage removed.
