TACOMA, Wash. (AP) — Two men have been charged in connection with a Feb. 7 Tacoma drive-by shooting that killed a woman and wounded her brother.
Tacoma police spokesman Mark Fulghum said Thursday that neither man is believed to be the shooter.
Pierce County prosecutors have charged 21-year-old Eduardo Sandoval and 20-year-old Jarrod Messer with first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit first-degree murder in the death of 20-year-old Camille Love.
Court papers say detectives believe Messer was driving the stolen minivan from which the deadly shots were fired. Sandoval is believed to have been a lookout in another vehicle.
