Conviction in Federal Way Transit Center shooting

KENT, Wash. (AP) — A 29-year-old man convicted of a fatal shooting at the Federal Way Transit Center faces more than 17 years in prison when he is sentenced in November in King County Superior Court in Kent.

A jury convicted Merlin N. Bell of second-degree murder on Thursday for the shooting last September of 19-year-old De’Von Winston parks during an altercation in the bus loading area.
