SEATTLE (AP) — Forecasters say the blanket of muggy air over Washington should break up Wednesday but warm weather should continue through Saturday.
The National Weather Service forecasts high temperatures in the 70s in Western Washington until clouds and a chance of rain return on Sunday.
High temperatures in Eastern Washington are forecast in the 80s with mostly clear skies through Saturday.
The low temperature at Spokane Monday night was 56 degrees. The Weather Service says it was the warmest low for the day on record. The previous record was 54 degrees, set in 1962.
