WALLA WALLA, Wash. (AP) — A 13-year-old boy riding a bike was struck by a hit-run driver Thursday morning at Touchet (TOO’-sheh).
The Walla Walla sheriff’s office says the boy landed in a ditch and may have broken an ankle. KNDU-TV reports he was wearing a helmet and does not have life-threatening injuries.
A witness saw the driver hit the brakes after the accident then leave the scene.
