SALEM, Ore. (AP) — The FBI says two men armed with semiautomatic handguns have robbed a Salem, Ore., credit union, ordering a dozen employees and customers to drop to the floor.
No one was injured in Friday’s takeover-style attack at the Unitas Community Credit Union.
A $5,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the men. They are described as in their mid- 20s. Both were wearing blue-gray zip-up hooded sweatshirts, jeans and sunglasses.
FBI spokeswoman Beth Anne Steele said late Friday afternoon her agency thinks the robbers fled to Washington state, possibly the Seattle area.
