The Columbian

Portland — Radio station 1550 AM, which currently broadcasts adult standards from a Southeast Portland studio, will change formats on Monday and begin calling itself “Vancouver’s Talk Station.”

The station, which will continue to use call letters KKOV and to be owned by Portland-based Pamplin Media Group, will include Bill Bennett, Mike Gallagher and Dennis Prager in its lineup.

Though it is broadcast from antennas that are based in Vancouver, it is not clear whether any staff will actually relocate to Clark County. A Pamplin Media program director did not respond to an inquiry ahead of The Columbian’s deadline.
