SALEM, Ore. (AP) — State parks are now accepting reservations for 2012 for yurts and cabins that allow pets.
The Oregon Parks and Recreation Department began taking the reservations Friday for pet friendly accommodations located in 21 parks, with at least one in almost every region of the state.
The expanded number of yurts and cabins that allow pets comes on the heels of a successful pilot program at three campgrounds.
Pet-designated yurts and cabins may be reserved only by calling Reservations Northwest at 1-800-452-5687. Online reservations are not available.
