Washington sweeps hoop Shootout

The Washington boys and girls all-star basketball teams swept their Oregon counterparts on Saturday at the Northwest Shootout.

The Washington boys cruised to a 107-84 win over Oregon at the Chiles Center at the University of Portland.

Prairie standout Keaton Jackson played 11 minutes, scoring two points to go with four rebounds and a blocked shot. He was the only representative from Clark County.

The Washington girls edged Oregon 103-101. The game did not feature any Clark County athletes.

This was the 18th year of the Shootout. Some of the players from Clark County who have participated in this event include Dan Dickau, Derek Raivio, Chantelle Anderson, and 2006 game MVP Ashley Corral.
