EVERETT, Wash. (AP) — By day Kate Mossman is the Everett Public Library’s assistant director. By night she puts on skates and become captain of a roller derby team called the Camaro Harem.

The Daily Herald reports Mossman first became interested in roller derby four years ago when she saw the Jet City Rollergirls in the Fourth of July parade. She had no serious skating experience but made the team and quickly improved.

Coach Mich Congdon says the librarian is known for her fierce, focused aggression on the track.

The next roller derby for the Camaro Harem is April 9 against the Pink Pistols at the Everett Community College gym.
