LAS VEGAS (AP) — UNLV is interviewing four coaches with college experience to replace its newly departed men’s basketball coach.

School officials say Dave Rice, Mike Dunlap, Ernie Kent and Reggie Theus are finalists to succeed Lon Kruger.

Kruger left the Rebels on Friday to take a seven-year contract at Oklahoma.

Rice and Theus are both former Runnin’ Rebel players.

Rice is an associate head coach at BYU and a former assistant at UNLV.

Theus is an assistant coach for the NBA’s Minnesota Timberwolves.

Dunlap is an assistant at St. John’s University in New York.

Kent is a former head coach at Oregon.

Kruger left after seven seasons at UNLV.

At Oklahoma, he’ll replace Jeff Capel, who was fired after five seasons.
