PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — A grand jury has indicted a 16-year-old Oregon boy on charge of murder with a firearm in the death of a 14-year-old Portland girl whose body has not been found.

The Multnomah County District Attorney’s office released an indictment Friday that also charged Parrish Bennette with manslaughter with a firearm in the death of Yashanee Vaughn, who is believed to have been killed on March 19.

Police led an unsuccessful three-day search for Vaughn’s body in the Rocky Butte area of Portland last weekend and her family has called for a nationwide search.

Bennette is scheduled for arraignment at 4:30 p.m. in juvenile court in Portland.
