Vancouver police are asking local residents to watch for Bradley T. Barter, who has been missing from his home since Wednesday evening.

Barter is white, 32, 6 feet 4 inches tall and 260 pounds, and has blue eyes and shoulder-length red hair, according to a bulletin sent about 4:30 p.m. Friday from the Vancouver Police Department.

He was last seen wearing a navy-blue zippered fleece jacket, a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue running pants and black-and-gray New Balance-brand athletic shoes. He was carrying a black Jansport-brand backpack.

The bulletin asked people not to contact or try to detain Barter, but to call 911 if they see him or know where he is.
