PENDLETON, Ore. (AP) — Regional commuter Seaport Airlines has cancelled four of its weekend flights between Pendleton and Portland, but plans to add a flight to Salem.
The East Oregonian reports the airline will also have 11 weekly roundtrip Portland-to-Salem flights, a 26-minute jaunt the airline says will give commuters another option to braving the busy Interstate Highway 5 traffic.
SeaPort marketing coordinator Claire James says the Salem to Portland flights will cost $29.
Salem has been without air passenger service since Delta Air Lines cut flights to the city in 2008.
