PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — A Utah ski team coach and a team member were injured in a weekend crash near Mount Hood in Oregon.

The Oregonian reports that six members of the Rowmark Ski Academy and their coach had been heading home to Salt Lake City on Saturday when their sport utility vehicle was struck by another SUV on Highway 35.

Oregon State Police said the other vehicle had been trying to pass a truck on a blind curve.

The ski academy’s coach, 26-year-old Scott Veenis of Park City, Utah, was hospitalized in Portland and listed as stable. A 15-year-old ski team member was at Oregon Health & Science University but his name and condition were not released.

A 16-year-old passenger in the other SUV was hospitalized in Hood River.
