GOLDEN, Colo. (AP) — Investigators say a Denver-area man charged with sexual assault and other crimes tried to eliminate evidence after assaulting his victims.

Marc O’Leary is suspected of sexually assaulting at least two women in the Denver area in the last year. Investigators say the 32-year-old also suspected in another attempted assault in the Denver suburb of Lakewood and an attack near Seattle before he moved to Colorado in 2009.

The Denver Post reported Tuesday that investigators say O’Leary allegedly made his victims brush their teeth and shower. He also allegedly removed bed covers and clothing and hid their phones so they couldn’t call police.

A Jefferson County judge ruled Monday that there’s enough evidence to pursue a case against O’Leary, who is being held on $5 million bond.

He didn’t make any comments during the court hearing.
