CORAL GABLES, Fla. (AP) — Miami center Reggie Johnson is entering the NBA draft, though will not yet hire an agent.

Johnson averaged 11.9 points and 9.6 rebounds as a redshirt sophomore this past season. The 6-foot-10, 303-pounder shot 59 percent from the field.

His 347 rebounds this season were the most for a Hurricanes player since Rick Barry posted a school-record 475 in 1964-65.

Underclassmen have until May 8 to remove their name from the draft and retain college eligibility.

Miami is also seeking a coach to replace Frank Haith, who resigned last week and accepted a contract from Missouri.
