Credit union donates $3,000 to Washougal schools

Washougal — The Washougal School District has benefited from the generosity of the Lacamas Community Credit Union. The credit union donated $3,000 to the school district as part of its 2011 Community Partnership Program. The district plans to use the money to help beautify the entrance to the gymnasium with a brick W, new sidewalks, benches and landscaping, according to Superintendent Teresa Baldwin.
