TACOMA, Wash. (AP) — A jury in Tacoma has convicted a woman for her role in the home-invasion slaying of an Edgewood man who had advertised a ring on Craigslist.

The trial of 22-year-old Amanda Knight went to the Pierce County jury Wednesday and it returned the guilty verdict Thursday on charges of murder, robbery and assault.

Knight’s defense lawyer had argued she was forced to participate by Kiyoshi Higashi who already has been convicted of shooting Jim Sanders in front of his family last April at his Edgewood home. Higashi was sentenced to more than 100 years in prison.

The News Tribune reports two other men, Clabon Berniard and Joshua Reese, have pleaded not guilty to murder and other charges and await trial.
