MIAMI (AP) — LeBron James is getting new shoes for the NBA playoffs.
The Miami Heat forward’s eighth signature shoe is being launched by Nike on Saturday — not coincidentally, the opening day of the NBA postseason.
Miami hosts Philadelphia on Saturday afternoon in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference quarterfinals.
The shoe — the LeBron 8 PS — is the third version of sneaker he’s donned this season, and Nike has shaved 2.4 ounces from the shoe.
Nike says the new sneaker will have a suggested retail price of $150.
