SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico (AP) — Juan Manuel “Juanma” Lopez will defend his WBO featherweight title Saturday against Mexican Orlando Salido in what some believe will be one of the more important fights of his career.
The 27-year-old Lopez boasts an undefeated record (30-0 with 27 knockouts). The championship fight will be the highlight of a full card at the Ruben Rodriguez Coliseum in Bayamon.
Lopez says he is “ready to go round for round with Salido,” and will “draw up an intelligent fight plan.”
