BELLEFONTAINE, Ohio (AP) — An Ohio man sentenced to life in prison for murdering his girlfriend’s adult daughter and an elderly couple says in his videotaped confession that he constantly has “evil thoughts” and thinks about killing.

Samuel K. Littleton II pleaded guilty to three counts each of aggravated murder and gross abuse of a corpse in a deal with prosecutors to avoid the death penalty.

The Columbus Dispatch reports the video shows the 37-year-old man sobbing as investigators showed him pictures of the elderly Logan County couple and asked him to reveal where their bodies were. The bodies later were found in Georgia and Tennessee.

When investigators ask about his girlfriend’s daughter, Littleton says he doesn’t know why he “snapped.” Her body was found in his basement.
