ELLENSBURG, Wash. (AP) — Authorities have identified two of three victims who died in an Ellensburg duplex fire early Saturday.

Ellensburg Fire Chief John Sinclair said Sunday that 31-year-old Cynthia Smith and her 6-year-old son Cade Crowe died in the blaze. They were found in the back bedroom.

The Herald-Republic reports that Smith’s 4-year-old son was also killed in the blaze but his identity has not yet been released.

Firefighters were able to pull out the woman and a 6-year-old boy less than 15 minutes after arriving. After trying to revive them, they were declared dead at Kittitas Valley Community Hospital in Ellensburg.

The 4-year-old boy was discovered during another search of the home shortly after 1 a.m. He was declared dead at the scene.

Sinclair said the three likely died of smoke inhalation.
