Scout earns rare top Venturing award

Kavanna Park — Erin Crocker, 21, received the highest award that can be presented to a youth in the Venturing Program of the Boy Scouts of America — the Venturing Silver Award.

Crocker is the first member of Venturing Crew 609 to win this award and only the 22nd Venture Scout to be presented the Silver Award in the Cascade Pacific Council. Crocker has also earned the Outdoor Bronze Award with an emphasis in shooting sports, the Venturing Gold Award, and the 2009 Venturing Leadership Award.

Crocker is a student at Clark College, a Certified Nursing Assistant and is employed at Southwest Washington Medical Center. She is married to Eagle Scout Chance Crocker. Erin Crocker is the daughter of Steven and Michele Sullivan of Vancouver.
