Ain’t No Other wins stakes at Hollywood Park

INGLEWOOD, Calif. (AP) — Ain’t No Other defeated Robie the Cat by three-quarters of a length in Thursday’s $85,900 Harry Henson Stakes on opening day of Hollywood Park’s spring-summer meet.

Ridden by Patrick Valenzuela, Ain’t No Other ran six furlongs on the turf in 1:08.52 and paid $13.60, $6.80 and $4.20. Robie the Cat returned $4.60 and $3.40, while Gig Harbor was another half-length back in third and paid $4.80 to show.

Diamond Geezah, the 19-10 favorite, finished fifth in the seven-horse field.
