PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Police gang detectives are investigating an exchange of gunfire that wounded a man and left a bullet hole in the window of a TriMet bus in Portland.
The 30-year-old victim was hit in a wrist in the Thursday afternoon shooting and walked to a hospital for treatment. Investigators don’t know if he was the intended target in the gunfire between a vehicle and group of people on the sidewalk, at North Williams and Fremont.
The bullet that hit the bus lodged in the floor without hurting any of the passengers, who included children. A parked car also was hit.
