IRVINE, Calif. (AP) — Geoff Rowley and Greg Lutzka are among the first 24 pro street skateboarders invited to the Maloof Money Cup contests in New York and Washington, D.C., this summer.

Lutzka says he will skate in the Maloof contests and the Dew Tour rather than the Street League of Skateboarding, which requires exclusivity.

Rowley will help design the street courses for all four Maloof Money Cups this year, including Kimberley, South Africa, and Orange County, Calif.

The other 24 skaters will be announced in the next few days.

Also on the list are Andrew Reynolds; David Gravette, the best trick winner at last year’s Maloof Money Cup Orange County; Dennis Busenitz, Tampa Pro 2011 winner; and Leo Romero, Thrasher’s Skater of the Year in 2010.
