A Friday-morning fire caused some damage to a residence in north Clark County.
Clark County Fire & Rescue was called at 9:20 a.m. to a home at 9917 N.E. 322nd St., near La Center.
According to radio reports monitored at The Columbian, a match was left smoldering on a chair and ignited it, with flames then spreading to the siding and a deck of the home.
The fire was quickly knocked down and damage was limited.
Property records list the owners of the home as Michael and Diana Daschel.
