BALTIMORE (AP) — Friday night’s game between the New York Yankees and Baltimore Orioles has been postponed by rain.
No makeup date was immediately announced. Yankees manager Joe Girardi said the game would not be played this weekend.
CC Sabathia was scheduled to start for the Yankees and Brad Bergesen was slated to pitch for the Orioles. Sabathia has been moved back to Saturday in the rotation.
It’s the second time this season a game between New York and Baltimore was called by rain. The first postponement occurred April 12 in New York.
