YAKIMA, Wash. (AP) — A man whose body was found partially wrapped in plastic off a road near Naches has been identified as a 55-year-old Yakima man who has been missing about three weeks.
Sheriff’s Det. Stew Graham says Kenan Vesek was reported missing by his family on Friday, but he hadn’t been seen since April 4. He had been staying with his parents in Yakima.
The body was found Saturday over an embankment near Naches, which is about 10 miles northwest of Yakima. An autopsy Tuesday may determine the cause of death. Graham says Vesek was a known drug user.
