SAN DIEGO (AP) — The San Diego Padres have recalled right-handed reliever Evan Scribner from Triple-A Tucson and optioned left-hander Wade LeBlanc to the same Tucson club.
The 25-year-old Scribner’s first appearance with San Diego will be his major league debut. He was 0-1 with three saves in four opportunities and a 5.63 ERA in six relief appearances for Tucson.
LeBlanc was recalled from Tucson on Sunday to start against Philadelphia. He took the loss.
